Curtis White & Co. will build six homes as the first phase of the new Sequoyah Ridge subdivision, located in unincorporated St. Clair County.
The 123-acre site is adjacent to Camp Winnataska, a 1,400-acre Boy Scout camp. The location offers privacy in a rural and densely wooded area that is proximate to the City of Birmingham. The average lot size will be approximately 1 acre which, combined with the nearby scout camp, provides a great location for families who seek a more rural setting. Homes will range in price from $130,000 to $140,000.

Project Description
The first phase of Sequoyah Ridge involves the initial construction of six homes, with the intention of completing the initial 37-acre development with 33 homes.
Developer
Curtis White & Co, Inc. began in the residential construction business more than 50 years ago. The Company is a family business led by its principals, Curtis White and Joe White, who have built thousands of homes and created numerous subdivisions throughout the region. Mr. Joseph White will lead this project and will also handle the marketing/listing of the homes.
Time Frame
Summer 2005: Commence construction
Summer 2005: Begin advertising, marketing and outreach efforts
Fall 2005: Construction completed on first two homes
Winter 2005: First six homes completed.
